4) Hmm... weird again. Dunno what books you've read, but that is totally false. Nothing is perfect and the "LoA" I subscribe to doesn't say what you've described. Visualizing is only one tool of LoA... one which I don't really use. The perfect relationship and perfect diet are total BS. you don't visualize those things, you either build them (a good healthy relationship, not a perfect one) or follow them (a good diet).

I kept hearing about this book. I expected it to be a new age, wish on a star book. But, it was a good read. It reminded me that, at least to some extent, we do create our own reality by the attitude we project. If we are a grump, we attract other grumps, not happy persons, to us. And so on. It is a quick read, a fun read, lots of white space, easy to understand and assimilate, no high psychology words, no mumbo jumbo. Good illustrations. Definitely written for the layman. I've also seen Losier's videos and they are more of the same.
No, Jesse, I do not believe that I know everything. Nor have I ever claimed to even know a billionth of everything. I do not know where we go after we die. As you recall, Freud believed that dreams served as a form of wish fulfillment. Since we cannot act on our unconscious desires in our waking life, we can explore these feelings in dreams. However, we tend to do this in hidden, symbolic forms. According to Freud, the mind uses a number of different strategies to censor the latent content of a dream. By censoring the unconscious wishes and disguising them in the manifest content, we can explore our hidden thoughts and memories in a way that protect the ego from anxiety.
Unfortunately, this author has an extremely superficial understanding of the LOA. While he may claim to have read all of the books, he clearly didn't understand them. He really isn't to blame as unfortunately many of the books written on the LOA are written by people that do not fully understand it themselves. The statement that positive thoughts always bring positive things is a faulty premise that is not at the basis of the LOA.
I like to engage in these creative visualizations for five minutes or so just before I quiet my mind to meditate. It's a great pre-meditation practice because I can allow my mind to be actively focused on the visualizations before I ask it to stop ‘doing.' You can do it in the car while you wait at a red light. You can do it before bed — again a great way to focus and quiet the mind prior to sleep. Even better if you go to sleep holding in your mind's eye the dreams you wish for yourself.  It doesn't matter really, the main thing is to practice specific visualizations every day.

The text in the creators' books is precisely the data he's referring to, a intellectual creation that has absolutely no scientific basis.

Whether that’s what someone intended to say or not, it doesn’t really matter because it’s the energy behind the words.
I understand your scepticism about the LOA as I am someone who is open minded about it. However, I kind of lost confidence in your arguments when you started to present basic premises about the LOA incorrectly. For example, the primary focus of the law of attraction is not about material wealth. It is about self development, self love and the journey to self completeness within the context of mindfulness and positive thinking. This is a premise that is widely used within peer researched clinical therapies as well as many religions. Proponents of the law of attraction do not campaign for everyone to achieve selfish material gain and wealth. I have not heard or read anyone, no matter what level in their LOA journey that they are at. Their point is about the power of a positive mindset, a principle I am very much a supporter of and as I said, this is not unique to the LOA.

For example, if you are currently unhappy with the state of your bank balance you will most probably be responding to this with negative emotions of ‘want’ and ‘lack’. However, when you respond to an area of your life in this way, you are only making the problem bigger for yourself. The more we give our attention to something, be it negative or positive, the more we attract it into our life.

Within days from now you can attract your true love…set up a business that will change the world…get a better job than what you ever imagined possible…start to reclaim your health…rediscover your confidence and connect with the bliss of your true purpose. I’ve seen it happen so many times to people I know and clients of mine. Accelerated learning is a choice that allows you to build all the beautiful, powerful beliefs which will get you there quickly.
What do you want? What are your goals, wishes, and dreams? Get really clear about what it is that you want to manifest in your life. Do this in your quiet space. I encourage you to write it on paper with a pen. Describe what it looks like, draw it, define it. Make sure you stay with the positive attributes of your vision and define them specifically. Creating a manifestation/vision board is a great tool to help you visualize your goals and dreams.
The law of attraction is a law that works behind the scenes. It is not obvious to most people. As humans, we tend to believe only that which we can directly see or measure. That which is completely beyond sight or direct measurement cannot be ‘proven’ by science. The law of attraction can only be proven through your own direct experience of working with the law. For this reason, it is of utmost importance that you APPLY what you learn in this instruction manual. Apply as much as you can until you start seeing direct evidence that confirms the reality of the law of attraction at work in your life. Note that I can only give you a description of how it works.
