Human beings are creatures of habit, and the well-worn paths that our lives follow are habits we have developed throughout our lifetimes. Habits don’t change overnight. Very few of us can just decide that we’re going to change something and then sustain a new behavior without looking back. It takes time and patience to change longstanding habits. And it takes practice. Many manifestation teachings don’t include specific practices to help embed the new habits of thought into the subconscious mind. Now you may not be willing to set a table for two each night when you have dinner, but start to consider what you could do to generate the feeling that you are already sharing your life with your beloved. For example, buy tickets to a concert or play that is several months away, holding the intention that you will attend it with a hot date. Or the next time you are shopping for greeting cards, pick up a couple that would be fitting to give to your beloved on a birthday or to celebrate your anniversary, knowing that sometime soon that day will be here.
You believe in the process, look at your board every day, do creative visualizations in your mind's eye, and are open to the magic. Now it's time to act! Mention your dreams in conversations. Book that appointment and sign up for that class. Start acting the way you see yourself acting when your dreams come true. Don't wait for anything or anyone to make it happen, do what you can – as much as you can – now to align your life with those dreams. Be proactive while at the same time believing that the magic process of manifestation is also working behind the scenes and your own awareness

You are describing how it is desirable to have the good and bad. Death is good. Aging is good. Disease is good. I don't necessarily disagree with your premise. However, these are not the things that people typically want or desire to fill their lives. When you talk about creation and destruction being natural phenomenon, I agree. But invoking the law of attraction should stop the destruction part if that's what I want to attract. This is irrespective of it being objectively good or bad.

Commit to eradicating the limiting beliefs that are stopping you from believing and knowing that you’re worthy of what you want. This takes courage. Your belief system and believing with conviction is what allows your desires to become a reality. Have the courage to look inside to identify all the limiting beliefs that might be holding you back. Whether they’re fears relating to commitment, fears relating to financial abundance, fears relating to your past and future. Get clear about these.
Focus as often as you can on what you do want rather than on what you don't want. For example, if you are angry or upset about a war/conflict that has been going on, do your best to be 'pro-peace' rather than 'anti-war' - focus on the peace, and the kinds of solutions that you would like to see, instead of whatever it is that you do not like about the situation.

Because this is such a powerful meditation, we want to make sure your goals are promoting good in the world and not evil! So for five minutes repeat silently to yourself, in your mind's eye, “My heart is open. I open my heart. It doesn't matter whether or not you know when you're going to receive it, just believe you're going to get it and have no doubts about it. If you have any doubts, quickly change your thought pattern to the positive and focus on receiving or having what you want.
I do not claim to have all of those things either. However, I do have most of the things that I described and I managed to attain them through my value-based goals, plans, process-visualizations, and inspired action. I didn't ask the universe for it, you might say that the universe knew, but I was driven to get these things. I didn't act or pretend like I already had them.

I used to do a lot of work helping people to stop smoking. There are only 2 reasons people don’t stop smoking. One, because they don’t want to (often this is subconscious) Two, because they don’t believe it’s possible. Or they assume it will be incredibly difficult and painful, and they can’t do it without suffering forever. (Again, this is often subconscious and it is a flawed assumption).

Whatever you are thinking and feeling at any given time is basically your request to the universe for more of the same. Teachings on manifestation sometimes fail to dig deep enough into the subconscious roots of our current patterns of creation. If we don’t effectively unearth the hidden beliefs, habits and behavior patterns that may be blocking our ability to co-create, including the cultural programming we’ve absorbed from the world around us, we’ll constantly be working against ourselves. You can’t transform what you can’t see. And just as the subconscious mind can be the source of our biggest obstacles, it’s also the source of our greatest creative power. Simply encouraging people to “think more positive thoughts” only engages the conscious mind. To become an effective creator, we need to find ways to imprint new patterns and desires into the subconscious mind.
