Most people stumble from the very beginning by not knowing precisely what it is they want. How can you manifest something in your life if you don’t know what it is? Example, you want a new car. O.K., what kind of car? What colour is it? What body style, make, model and options do you want and what price range? Without tailoring your desire to specific details, how is the universe going to know what you want when you don’t know yourself?
What do you want? What are your goals, wishes, and dreams? Get really clear about what it is that you want to manifest in your life. Do this in your quiet space. I encourage you to write it on paper with a pen. Describe what it looks like, draw it, define it. Make sure you stay with the positive attributes of your vision and define them specifically. Creating a manifestation/vision board is a great tool to help you visualize your goals and dreams.
Law of Attraction Affirmations can take the form of internal thoughts or spoken words, but they can also be represented visually. Regardless of how you choose to use them, you can design them to reflect your vision of how you want your life to change. For example, many people have great success speaking affirming words into the mirror before going to work, or stating “today is going to be a great day” to infuse themselves with positivity upon waking. When used frequently enough, affirmations can enhance your use of the Law of Attraction by helping to reshape the core beliefs and assumptions that may be holding you back. They promote consistency, optimism and intense focus on the future you want to create.
Step 1: Define what you want. Often we think we know what we want, but we can only define it by what we do not want. In the process of defining all the things we do not desire we end up shifting our energy and attention to manifest that rather than what we want. Where we place our attention is where the energy of manifestation goes to work. Clearly working at manifesting our dreams this way will not be productive.
The manifest content of a dream is what actually happens in the dream. This is often contrasted with the latent content of the dream, which is what the dream represents or symbolizes. Sigmund Freud, the father of psychoanalysis, believed that the manifest content of the dream always represents a suppressed emotion or urge, which was revealed in the latent content. Carl Jung, the author of significant psychological concepts such as archetypes and the collective unconscious, believed differently. He saw the manifest content as a guide to what's currently going on in your life, and the latent content as a reflection of your deeper, spiritual side. Unlike Freud, Jung did not categorize all dreams as unfulfilled wishes.
Release the fears and prejudices that come from previous experiences. “Heaven’s not beyond the clouds; it’s just beyond our fears.” Regret and fear are the thieves that rob us of today. Accept responsibility for your life. Know that there are no victims. This means really forgive and forget, live without opinions, throw out your old baggage and live fully present in the moment at hand while following your heart’s guidance and desires for tomorrow.
Under laboratory conditions, cutting edge science has confirmed that every thought is made up of energy and has its own unique frequency. And when this energy and frequency of a single thought radiates out into the Universe, it naturally interacts with the material world. Of course, it has long been known that matter, or physical objects, are also just packets of energy at the sub-microscopic, quantum level. And so, as your thought radiates out, it attracts the energy and frequencies of like thoughts, like objects, and even like people, and draws those things back to you.
People living today have the same access to the original creators' texts online as people in 1880 had in printed books. It's exactly the same material. You're essentially arguing against yourself because asserting that no one knows for sure about it would have to apply to the people in 1880 as well. Your argument is an appeal to ignorance, which is a logical fallacy. The text in the creators' books is precisely the data he's referring to, a intellectual creation that has absolutely no scientific basis.

It's curious that people who believe in a LOA are critical of those who don't and believe them to be close-minded. I have presented a lot of new data such as the erroneous science and the data showing that acting as though you had already accomplished your goals was detrimental to you doing so. Yet, LOA proponents do not look at this with an open mind and reconsider their belief system. In this way LOA is akin to a faith-based religion, except that religious beliefs can't be disproven.

The technique of free association, actively utilized by Freud in dream interpretation, often begins with a psychoanalyst’s analysis of a specific dream symbol followed by the proceeding thought that automatically comes to a client’s mind. To further this investigative practice, Freud classified five separate processes that facilitate dream analysis.
You might believe that you can get a new job because you’ve seen others do the same. However, you may not expect to get a job in that you have yet to put a time stamp on the manifestation of it. Truly, God has the best timing, but your real expectations will be relevant to your day to day activities. That may look like you keeping your phone volume up so you can hear it ring when the new job calls. Maybe you print out your new resume in advanced because you want to be prepared for the interview. You might even have picked out your outfit to impress yourself and your new boss.
The Law Of Attraction And Your Body
I like to engage in these creative visualizations for five minutes or so just before I quiet my mind to meditate. It's a great pre-meditation practice because I can allow my mind to be actively focused on the visualizations before I ask it to stop ‘doing.' You can do it in the car while you wait at a red light. You can do it before bed — again a great way to focus and quiet the mind prior to sleep. Even better if you go to sleep holding in your mind's eye the dreams you wish for yourself. It doesn't matter really, the main thing is to practice specific visualizations every day.
Teachings on manifestation sometimes fail to dig deep enough into the subconscious roots of our current patterns of creation. If we don’t effectively unearth the hidden beliefs, habits and behavior patterns that may be blocking our ability to co-create, including the cultural programming we’ve absorbed from the world around us, we’ll constantly be working against ourselves. You can’t transform what you can’t see. And just as the subconscious mind can be the source of our biggest obstacles, it’s also the source of our greatest creative power. Simply encouraging people to “think more positive thoughts” only engages the conscious mind. To become an effective creator, we need to find ways to imprint new patterns and desires into the subconscious mind. In my new book, I guide readers into a new and empowered relationship with what lies beneath the surface of their everyday awareness.
The Law of Attraction is one of the better known universal laws. The theory behind the Law of Attraction is that we create our own realities. Not only do we attract things we want, we also attract things we don't want. We attract the people in our lives, the stuff inside our homes, and the money in our bank accounts through our thoughts and feelings.
If you don’t believe what you’re saying, you’re going to feel the opposite of what you want to attract. If you’re trying to force yourself to feel abundant but you don’t believe you can be or that you already are, you’re going to feel frustrated by your perceived lack and, therefore, call in more lack. Basically, you can’t convince yourself to feel an emotion you don’t actually have, except you can, kind of…
Most people don’t consider using the Law of Attraction to bring better health into their lives, but as you noticed in the results of the aging experiment, it’s actually a great tool for that purpose. Because the Law of Attraction works with thoughts and thoughts affect our physical reality, you may be attracting poor health into your life right now without even realizing it.

10) Blame Yourself: As the LOA is supposed to be a perfect, universal law, positivity should ALWAYS attract more positivity. The corollary of this is that you alone are completely responsible for any goal that was not successfully achieved, no matter how unrealistic the goal. This assumes that you not only control your thoughts and actions, but also those of everyone around you…and nature. The fact is, that you don’t. Sorry to break that to you.
