The hubs (then boyfriend) pulled me out of my tailspin one night. He sat me down and had me list all the characteristics and qualities of my dream work life. Number one, was being able to stop to watch Ellen every day. Number two, I wanted to help others, #priorities ?. The list went on and on from there. Everything was written out. From what my daily schedule would look like, to the things I did and didn’t like in past jobs. With a super clear vision of what I wanted, and didn’t want in a career, I decided to get back into my daily meditation and daily yoga practice.

A huge component of what creates that force, that pull, magnetism, if you will, is self-worth. Anytime I would step into my power, and no longer settle for things where I had been really small or insecure in the past, and say no—and claim my power—what I wanted would connect with me. Thinking positive had nothing to do with it; it was standing in my power and strength and worth and not settling for less that mattered.

For example, say your dream is to adopt a child. You really want to adopt this child because it will bring you feelings of heroism, unconditional love, and joy. In order to become a vibrational match to having that child, all you have to is start practicing those emotions now! Find the places in your life where you already feel like the hero, you already practice unconditional love and you already find joy.

The Law Of Attraction Deepak Chopra

The original creators of the law of attraction going back to the 1880s including Prentice Mulford,James Allen, Thomas Troward, William Walker Atkinson, Bruce MacLelland, Wallace Wattles, Napoleon Hill, Earl Nightingale, and W. Clement Stone promoted the belief that this is a universal law in which you attract only what you are thinking about. Modern LOA proponents such as Rhonda Byrne, Jack Canfield, Bob Proctor, John Assaraf, Joe Vitale, The Hicks family, and many others have stated similar beliefs.
The most powerfilled state is when you start living a through me life. And you can’t do that if you just keep make it about you, feeling lack. Start living for your purpose, to help others, and to give. Yes, you can still want the Audi R8 and collection of motorcycles like I do. But those are just things and they won’t truly make you happy. “Things” will be the by product of living a purpose filled life.
"One can work toward manifesting positive outcomes; however, there are always these statements: 'I want this but not that. I want this and that, and I want this, but if I cannot have this, I will settle for this.' These types of thoughts bring forth convoluted requests and results. Using the modifiers 'not, but, and, as well as, either/or' muck things up. The energies that guide us and assist us take the request that was uttered or written and manifest things literally (including those words). It just happens that way. I tell people to only state or write down what they want and to leave out the things they do not want. The use of modifiers often provides mixed results, which may not be what someone wants," Rappaport claims.
Because this is such a powerful meditation, we want to make sure your goals are promoting good in the world and not evil! So for five minutes repeat silently to yourself, in your mind's eye, “My heart is open. I open my heart. I am good, I do good and I am loved.” You can adapt this to some other phrases if they feel more natural to you, too. Some examples from the book are, “I am worthy. I am cared for. I care for others. I love myself. I love others.”
In truth, though, we're missing out on a lot of the power the concept has to offer. I wish more people were using the law of attraction to “manifest” a life they love. As a spiritual teacher and healer, I’ve seen the power of the law of attraction create love, healing, and, yes, financial abundance for my clients. So, today I’m sharing my recipe for manifesting anything!

I had a clear vision of what happy looked like and since it wasn’t my reality, I didn’t allow myself to be happy. So I was angry, resentful, and jealous of all the people around me who were getting their dreams handed to them. And of course that flipped my magnet and the only thing I attracted was more negativity, sinking deeper and deeper in my own shit until I hit rock bottom.

A little background if you’re new around here: Before starting my own business, and then this blog, I worked a 9-5 as a substance abuse counselor on the road to burn out. Realizing where I was headed, #burnoutcity; I became the poster child for self-care: yoga at lunch, morning meditations, daily exercise, nutrition packed well-balanced meals, but I was still miserable.
The ability to imagine something better is the fuel of all great invention, change or innovation in life. Without it, we are essentially floating adrift without a compass. Law Of Attraction Dreams

Until recently, most psychoanalytic dream researchers have followed Freud's theoretical approach by interpreting dreams as one's unconscious desires. Currently, most modern day psychologists are concerned with "tracing out the metaphoric meanings of dreams rather than investigating what they might be expressing more literally with social and personal experience" (Hollan, 2009, p. 313). Trauma researchers especially have focused their efforts on patients' experiences with nightmares, reoccurring memories, and flashbacks as unique manifestations of psychiatric disorders, particularly PTSD. A few previous research studies including Barrett (1996) have delineated a strong pattern of post-traumatic nightmares, in which the dreams follow an extremely close reenactment to a particular event. These updated analytic techniques expand on Freud’s theoretical framework and provide a more holistic approach of dream understanding.
1. START SAYING NO. This applies to anything that’s not a “hell yes” in your life. Anytime you’re people-pleasing or doing something because you think you should be, or settling, what you’re communicating energetically and projecting is: “I’m not worth doing what I want” or “I don’t feel valuable enough to do what I want, therefore I’m going to keep staying small.” Whenever you’re in that mode, you’re just going to keep attracting the same lessons over and over and over again. Create boundaries and say no to what’s not a yes. That’s the number one thing somebody can do right away.
