The strongest and most powerful way to apply all of the previous steps is in this one: Act as if it is already true. Act like the person you want to be. Act as if you already have everything you want. Act as if everything you need has already been provided. It’s written by James Doty, an acclaimed neuroscientist from Stanford University, and tells the story of a underprivileged boy from Orange County who, in a very unexpected way, learns to meditate. Specifically he’s taught how to manifest dreams he can barely believe are possible, financially and career-wise. But over time, in the book and this boy’s actual life, every goal he sets comes true.


It all begins with putting the right messages out there into the world. Lots of people think that creating a vision board is enough, or trying to hustle to make things happen is the answer. The reality is, that manifesting something is a subtle energy. It’s about assuming the experience of what it is you desire before the reality even comes into form.
They don’t obtain the ability to find life in their life. Yes, ability. It’s not just a choice. It may start with a choice. But it’s a practice, a daily one, to produce nectar (joy) from what’s in front of you as you keep building and climbing. This is what keeps you positive and attracting. It’s like pedaling a bike. Once you are no longer able to produce joy with what you have, you are no longer attracting.

Every morning she would feel that they were waking up and starting their day together, and every night at dinner she would light candles and set a place for him at the table. According to this actress, he eventually arrived. She sent a clear message to the Universe, and the Universe delivered. Now you may not be willing to set a table for two each night when you have dinner, but start to consider what you could do to generate the feeling that you are already sharing your life with your beloved. For example, buy tickets to a concert or play that is several months away, holding the intention that you will attend it with a hot date. Or the next time you are shopping for greeting cards, pick up a couple that would be fitting to give to your beloved on a birthday or to celebrate your anniversary, knowing that sometime soon that day will be here.

Let's begin with your first goal. With your eyes closed and still in meditation, imagine what your life would look like if this goal were already accomplished. If your eyes were open, as you, with this goal having happened, what do you see? What colors? What shapes? Where are you? What are you wearing, what do you smell, who is with you? Stay with this. It may be hard at first. You might only see shapes or shadings of colors. But over time, and over days and weeks and months, the details will start to fill out. See, from your eyes as you, as much as you can about what your life looks like once you've manifested this dream. 
A person who is on the road to manifesting: “It would be great to meet someone by So & So’s wedding, but I know there’s a plan for me and I’m willing to wait for the right person. I trust the Universe is going to take care of me when the time is right. Today I ask for self-love to fill me up so much it overflows onto love for others and attracts the right people into my life.” …Big difference, huh?
